Sonnet Tempo SATA Firmware 2.1.8 description
Sonnet Tempo SATA Firmware will update any compatible Tempo SATA cards flash ROM (firmware) to driver version 2.1.3.
Compatible SATA cards: Compatible models include all Sonnet Marvell-based PCI-X and PCIe Tempo SATA cards.
Installation: Double-click SonnetSATA.pkg to start Mac OS Xs built-in install program, and then follow the onscreen directions; this installer will only run under Mac OS X.
NOTE: Please note that it will take approximately two (2) minutes to update the Tempo SATA cards firmware; please be patient while the "Running Installer Script" message appears.
!! WARNING !! Do NOT use this software if you have an incompatible SATA card.
Enhancements
- Fixes an issue that caused System Profiler to display an incorrect name for the Sonnet Tempo card installed in Power Mac computers.
- Fixes an installer issue that prevented the computers desktop file from being modified on certain Power Mac computers.
