If you have a beautiful new iMac, you know how nice and bright the screen is. Thing is...sometimes a bright screen isnt what youre going for.
Enter this small application. When run, Sleep Display IMMEDIATELY sleeps just your display so that you can continue running your background jobs.
It doesnt permanently affect your energy settings, so when you start working again, your monitor will not sleep immediately. Sleep Display is a simple application, but it solves an annoying problem.
Enhancements:
- Energy setting changes only made to current profile (AC or battery) not both.
- New and improved icon.
- This version may work for people who experienced the monitor going off then coming right back on. As you can imagine, theres only so many setups I can test on my own. But, I hope this version works for everyone.
