SIM express 1.4.1 description
With SIM express it is possible to edit the contacts (phonebooks, also known as memories) of a cellular/mobile/GSM phone, and exchange information with other desktop applications. It can also be used to backup the phonebooks.
Both serial cable and infrared connection are supported.Some compatible phone models:Nokia 7110, 6210 and 8xxx seriesBenefon Twin/Twin+, Benefon Q, Benefon Track, Benefon Esc!Siemens 35-seriesMotorola Timeport P7839Ericsson models with data capabilities (or with the suitable infrared adapter)
Enhancements:
- SMS messaging problem fix
- Some Ericsson and Siemens models cannot send SMS messages in simple text mode, so there is a new (PDU) mode available now in the preferences.
- Also there are two new options to skip some of the configurations done when sending SMSs.
- If you are experiencing problems with sending messages, for example with an Ericsson T68, simply enable the Use new mode to send messages. If that does not help, toggle the skip character set and message centre configurations.
