Sherlock Search 2.3 description
Sherlock Search is a small AppleScript that will ask for a search string, display search site options, and systematically seach each search site for your search string.
Then the script will attempt to open each URL found into Netscape, determine the source site, and page title, and then create a new record in a FileMaker Pro database.
Enhancements:
- Voice confirmation of progress.
- dialog box requesting if the page should be included
- "activate" to tell application blocks to give some visual feedback
- basic overall cosmetics
