SearchAndSpell 2.0.4

SearchAndSpell provides access to the internet from any application that supports contextual menus. With SearchAndSpell you will be able to open URLs which accept a single search argument, such as a search site or online dictionary. The value of the argument is supplied either by the current text selection or the contents of the clipboard.
In particular you can use SearchAndSpell for spell check and searching text selections on the internet (the default configuration). Or modify it, using System Preferences, to contain any number if URLs you like, with up to one search or path argument. So, for example, you could check stock quotes or find a book on Amazon.com right from within the current application.
The text SearchAndSpell uses is usually provided by the application when you control-click on selected text. Some applications do not provide the selected text, and in this case you can have SearchAndSpell use the contents of the clipboard as an alternative. This latter feature is an option you may specify in the system preference pane for SearchAndSpell.
