Print Therapy 6.0.2 LE

Print Therapy 6.0.2 LE  is designed as a smart and useful Printer Setup Repair, which is the only utility in the world designed to diagnose and repair problems that can occur with the Mac OS X printing system. These problems include, but are not limited to, the inability to open the Print & Fax System Preference pane, inability to add printers, disappearing print jobs, corrupted preference files, and inability to create PDF files.

Print Therapy also includes some useful tools for deleting extra printer drivers, installing or deleting PPD files, deleting old spool files, backing up and restoring the printing system, and resetting the printing system.

Major Features:

1. Backup and restore the printing system;
2. Verify and recreate the root user;
3. Verify and recreate the lp user;
4. Verify and recreate the lp group;
5. Verify and repair the printing system permissions;
6. Verify and repair the home user Library directories;
7. Reset the printing system;
8. Delete CUPS spool files;
9. Verify and repair the /private/tmp directory;
10. Stop, start, or restart the cupsd process;
11. Replace the cupsd.conf file; delete hidden temporary files;
12. Delete all printing preferences;
13. Delete the pre-installed drivers;
14. View the CUPS access_log file;
15. View the CUPS error_log file;
16. View the CUPS page_log file. Several changes such as updating all sections for Leopard compatibility, adding the ability to change the CUPS Administration URL in the preferences, hostconfig file is no longer used, so support for it has been removed, and other improvements.

Enhancements: Fixed a bug that would cause the trial version to expire immediately after launch.
