PortTerm 1.8.2 description
PortTerm is an application for communicating with external hardware via a serialport under Mac OS X. If your computer does not have a built -in serial port then an adapter (such as Keyspan serial adapter) is needed. And with AppleScript support it is the only application on the market that allows you to write to serial ports using AppleScript and/or any other scriptable program.
