Media File Cataloger was created in response to a need to easily find various files stored on CD/DVD.
Media File Cataloger is easy enough for home users yet powerful for companies who have archived their data files to CD, DVD, or networked storage server.
Main features:
BASIC FEATURES:
- Catalog files on selected hard drives, CDs, DVDs or other devices
- Sort files by source media, file name, extension or date
- Identifies duplicate files
- Search and show only files containing certain text in the file name
- Search and show only duplicate files
- Search and show only files with selected extensions
- Search and show only files in a given year
- Print the entire database or search results
- Delete search results from the database
ADVANCED FEATURES:
- Exclude files with certain extensions to prevent clutter in the database
- Delete files from the database originating from a cataloged volume/disc.
