It allows you to easily build plug-ins for the well-known desktop news retriever.
Forge features easy-to-use wizards to handle most sites and also features an expert mode for sites that cant be processed through the wizards. It is fully written in Cocoa and takes full advantage of Mac OS Xs features.
Main features:
- RSS editor : allows you to build plug-ins using the RSS standard
- Backslash editor : allows you to build plug-ins using Slashdots backslash standard
- Basic HTML editor : allows you to build plug-ins using raw HTML. It uses a simplified interface that should fit about 90% of websites.
- Expert HTML editor : allows you to build plug-ins using raw HTML. When a website is too complex to handle with Basic HTML, use this mode.
