LiteSpeed Web Server is a powerful, secure, easy-to-use, and Apache interchangeable Web server.
Supports HTTP/1.1, SSL, CGI, FastCGI, LiteSpeed SAPI (LSAPI), PHP, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JSP, Python, Perl, Servlets, GZIP compression, chroot, IP level throttling, connection accounting, DoS attack prevention, SNMP monitoring, Cacti graphing integration, and auto-service-recovery watchdog.
With its Apache compatible rewrite engine, .htaccess, and MS FrontPage support, migration is quick and easy. A web admin GUI included for online browser-based administration and configuration.
LiteSpeed Web Server can be used as a content accelerator, compression proxy, or a Layer7 security firewall running in front of any web application server.
Runs natively with both Intel and PowerPC version of OS X.
