iTAS (iTunes Art Switcheroo) may not sound like much of a program. After all, iTunes already displays the art for you. So, what gives? Well, iTAS does give you some advantages. 

iTAS is a nice and easy-to-use image display tool that takes album art from the currently playing track of iTunes and displays the available art in its own window. ITAS is an iTunes art switcher, so to speak, but a lot more. Read below.

First of all, if iTunes does not have the album art, you are given the option to display your favorite pictures (yourself, your girlfriend, wife, partner, fantastic scenes, and whatever you choose from your image files. iTAS will display it for you. Sounds cool?

But there's more! To avoid getting lost in the midst of listening to iTunes and looking at the display, iTAS displays the current track and artist together in one text field. And, to bring more life to the window, the song-artist combo text scrolls every 15 seconds (a la ticker tape in Wall Street; is that how they call it?).
