Ink Coverage 1.5

Ink Coverage 1.5 is a helpful program which is written for the Mac using Tiger (PowerPC and Intel) and above. Compiled Universal Binary and runs on Leopard. This program opens a print ready pdf and will calculate the ink or toner coverage of the file. A perfect solution for needing to know approximately how much a print job will cost before printing. This is a small easy to use application that does one thing - reads ink or toner coverage and gives you the calculated results based on the yield results listed by the manufacturer.

Another example, you receive a print ready pdf and it has a large solid black background with a few color pictures. Is that background color 100 percent black, or could it have 50 percent magenta and yellow as well? Take the guess work out of your next digital print job. Have a calculated way in which you can determine cost. 

Enhancements:

• Added Scan Selected Pages to the menu. Makes it easy to estimate newsletters and booklets. Now if you have a booklet in which the covers are full color and the rest grayscale, you can select just those pages that are printing full color.
• Added a none field for the selected pages. This will omit cost values from those pages.
• Another added feature - program retains scan information from first scan. This allows a quick cost comparison between more than one printer. Cost comarisons between grayscale and full color.
