FTPortal is a interesting tool, a contextual menu and preference pane combo that facilitates uploading files to specific folders on your FTP server(s).
It is particularly useful when you need to upload files to the same folders very frequently. You can upload files by either dropping them on a copy of the FTPortal application, or by control-clicking on them in the Finder to display a contextual menu. Both the application and the contextual menu can be configured for uploading to any folder of your various FTP accounts.
FTPortal is currently bundled with another file utility named Touvaly, for creating "pseudo-file" archives of CDs, folders and volumes.
Enhancements:
- A new option has been selected to the preference pane for opening the console log file for each update automatically. This option is deselected by default. (This feature was previously always on, and there was no way to turn it off.)
- Bug fix: previously when clicking a "Menu generation" item in the preference pane the menu editor tab would change to the Menu Editor tab (side effect of a routine initializing the tab.)
