File Wrench provides access in Os X to the file attributes and much more that were easily accessible from resedit in classic. The batch based format allows you to change various settings on 1 to 300 folder items.
File Wrench provides easy GUI editing of these attributes:
• Mac Creator codes (save up to 300 codes for later use)
• Mac Type codes (save up to 300 types for later use)
• File comments field
• File Lock flag
• File Label Colour
• Finder File Flags
• File permissions group and owner (GUI: chown, chmod, chgrp)
