Drag and drop files (PDF, JPG, GIF, PICT, etc.) to eDocuments in order to import and browse all of your paper documents that you scan into your computer. Buy a scanner, scan everything, burn the files to disk, and use eDocuments to browse them.
eDocuments is designed to allow you to browse your documents with ease, focusing on the important information - like the date of the document. When you browse through your documents, all of the attributes will remain intact - scroll bars, maginification, etc.
Scanning:
I would recommend a scan quality of 150 dots per inch: first for the speed of the scan, and second for the quality of the image.
Encryption:
When creating backups of your documents, you might want to use an encryption program like Crypt. You can download Crypt at the following web address.

Enhancements:
- Recommendation: take your current folders full of scanned images and just drop them on eDocuments main window in order to build your library quickly.
- Drag and drop between folders.
- Drawer window support for folders.
- Select all.
- Software changed to freeware!
