Do you have large folders full of files you would like to archive to DVD? The default Mac Finder interface to burning DVDs requires you to manually split the folder up into 4GB sections so you can burn it to separate disks.
DVD Spanner solves that problem. All you have to do is specify the directory of files, and optionally a name for the disks, and it will automatically span the archive across multiple disks.
DVD Spanner is freeware, meaning you dont need to pay for expensive alternatives. DVD Spanning software for the mac is now free!
Enhancements:
- DVD Spanner now stores a searchable library of all archived files so that you can always find your files
- Minor cosmetic improvements
- Some bug fixes to how the display is updated
