Searching through multiple disks for a specific file or folder is a headache that most Macintosh users have faced at one time or another.
CatFinder maintaines catalogs of your disks on the local hard drive.
By using CatFinder, you can quickly find which disk contains a desired file and even launch the file from within CatFinder.
CatFinder features an intuitive Finder-like interface for browsing the catalogs and provides powerful search and reporting features to help you find and organize your files.
Features:
- Catalogs any disk including CD ROMs, floppys, ZIP disks, and hard drives
- Provides an intuitive Finder-like interface for browsing the catalogs
- Display and sort files by name, size, disk free space, dates, type, creator, kind, or label
- Performs file search based on name, size, kind, type, creator, date, or label
- Generates reports for export or printing

Version restrictions:
- Registration screen at startup.
Enhancements:
- Allows you to adjust the size of the two panes in the Find results window.
- Will also automatically detect the disk type when cataloging a disk.
