Address2pine is a freeware utility which converts OS X addressbook contacts to a tab delimited .addressbook file designed to be used by the mail application, pine.
Enhancements:
- Addressbook2pine is now much more stable, faster, and is completely compatible with OS X 10.3 and higher!
- There is now a preference file which is created and save to ~/Library/Preferences/com.collinatorstudios.addressbook2pine.plist
- The program can now be run in "pine2addressbook" mode where it will import all contacts from a pine .addressbook file and import them into OS X Address Book. Each successfully imported contact is automatically added to the group "addressbook2pine" for easy tracking purposes.
- After the conversion has completed, on clicking the disclosure triangle, there is now more detailed successful import/contact information displayed in the window (this is accessed by clicking the text at the bottom of the window which reads "click here for more successful import details".
- preference window added where users can fully customize how content appears in their pine addressbook.
