Address Book Server 10 June 2009

Address Book Server extends the functionality of Address Book X LDAP. The biggest new feature is bi-directional sync of your entire Address Book or selected groups.

Main features:
- Bi-directional sync to keep your Address Books up to date.
- iSync integration to transfer contact information in the background in real time.
- Address Book schema are already supported.
- Discover Address Book Server via Bonjour. No more configuration.
- Support for off-site clients (Without Bonjour).
- Standalone server implemented in Java for cross platform compatibility.
- Web Services or HTTP. Simple firewall rules.
- It uses the an embedded database by default, but can be configured to use others.
- Scheduled synchronisation using launchd.
- Internationalization in French, German, Romanian.
- Recover deleted contacts.
- Administration tools.
