TomcatX 2.1 description
TomcatX is a simple GUI front-end for the Apache projects Jakarta Tomcat servlet engine. It is written using Cocoa/Objective-C and simply allows the user to select the home directory of the Tomcat distribution to be used and then starts and stops tomcat using the standard startup.sh and shutdown.sh scripts.
In addition it allows the user to restart Apache when the servlet engine is started by first authenticating the user as administrator and then using apachectl to restart the server.
The program is compatible with Tomcat 3.2.3, Tomcat 4.0 and Tomcat 5.0.
