1. Accurate project schedules. Ketura doesnt just tell you how much work there is to do, it predicts when it will be done and how long it will take. Ketura takes into account staff absence and availability, ensuring that you have the best schedule estimates for your projects.
2. Designed for changing circumstances. Even the best prepared project teams encounter unforeseen circumstances. Ketura makes it quick and easy to reassign work, move issues between milestones or defer issues to ensure that you hit your deadlines.
3. Manage all your projects in one system. You dont have to juggle multiple project files. With just one Ketura system, all your current projects are live and available, all the time.
4. Built-in timesheets. Traditional project management software requires you to update your project progress manually. With Ketura, team members log their own time as they undertake work, using a single-click work timer, and provide their latest estimates of the amount of work left to do. Out of the office? Team members can update their work journals after the event. Either way, you always have the latest, most accurate, information available.
5. Prevent schedule slips before they happen. Your team has insight into the work it is undertaking. Make the most of it! Ketura calculates two schedules for every project: one based on the official project plan, and one based on the latest expectations of team members. You instantly see any discrepancies between the two, making it possible to deal with possible schedule slips before they happen.
6. Control your budget, not just the project schedule. Successful projects come in within budget, as well as on time. Ketura knows the hourly cost of all your team members time, so you always have a current budget projection.

• Bugs fixed: On Ketura systems running in the EDT timezone (and possibly some others), modifying the start date of an existing work journal entry would sometimes result in an error. This problem has been corrected.

  • RAM: Ketura will use up to approximately 300 MB of memory. To allow for this in addition to the operating system and other services, it is recommended that Ketura servers have at least 1 GB of RAM, although it should be usable on lightly-loaded systems with 512 MB.
  • Processor: Although slower processors will work, a 2 GHz or faster processor is recommended. Ketura will take advantage of multiple processors and processing cores, if available.
  • Disk space: 1GB should be allowed for a typical sized Ketura system, including database. Additional space will also need to be set aside if many days of daily backups are to be kept. Servers should be periodically monitored to ensure that they have sufficient disk space.

  • Screen resolution: A high-colour display mode (thousands or millions of colours) with a resolution of 1024x768 or greater is strongly recommended.
  • JavaScript and cookies
  • • Ketura makes extensive use of JavaScript to make its pages easier to use. If JavaScript has been disabled in your browser, it must therefore be re-enabled before Ketura can be used. Ketura will warn you if you try to use it with JavaScript disabled.
    • Ketura also makes use of cookies, which are small pieces of information that Ketura asks your web browser to remember. Without cookies, Ketura would not be able to remember things such as the tab you had selected when you last visited a particular page. Consequently, cookies must be enabled on your browser if you are to use Ketura.
