HTML-Optimizer Plus 1.3

HTML-Optimizer Plus speeds up your site by optimizing both HTML and script code of your web pages and optimizing your JPEG and PNG images. It helps you keep organized by creating a duplicate site folder for the optimized files.
An additional benefit provided by HTML-Optimizer Plus is that it leaves your original files untouched. You should use your original web folder for editing and use the duplicate web folder for uploading.
HTML-Optimizer Plus features Smart Handling, supports XML and can handle web pages with any text encoding. Moreover, it can upload your optimized web pages and images, applying the FTP or WebDAV transfer protocol.
HTML-Optimizer Plus offers many options to customize its operation to your special needs. Drag and drop is fully supported.

Main features:
- The Mac OS X models are Universal Binary, so they run natively on either PowerPC- or x86 (Intel)-based Macintosh computers.
- When you start the application for the first time, a wizard appears and guides you through the configuration process.
- All optimizers optimize both HTML code and script code. The following script types are supported: JavaScript, Java, LassoScript, CFScript, PHP, ASP, JSP, CSP, TPL and CSS.
- The Smart Handling feature enables you to automatically handle only the pages that you have edited. If you have worked on 25 pages during the day and then you optimize your entire web folder with Smart Handling on, you will see that only the changed pages are optimized (and even published in one pass if you use Web Site Maestro). Our customers love it!
- You can exclude certain files and/or folders from being optimized. Nested subfolders are supported.
- Preference settings made for a web folder are remembered, so you dont need to re-enter them when you have selected another web folder and then return to the previous web folder.
- Drag and Drop is fully supported. On the programs Drop Spot you can drop a web folder, subfolders or files. Folders are handled recursively.
- In the Preferences panel you can customize the optimization rules, and more. You could, for example, select the option to encode email addresses to deceive spam harvesters.
- Our optimizers support iWeb, so that you can give your web pages an extra boost.
- HTML-Optimizer Plus and Web Site Maestro can also upload your optimized files to MobileMe iDisk, using the fast WebDAV transfer protocol.
- history log is available to show all your actions from the past.

Version restrictions:
- 30 days trial period.
- An unregistered copy optimizes 70% of your total number of web files.

Enhancements
- The optimizing process now automatically handles files in new folders.
- The first two commands from the Manage menu and the checkbox "Check Duplicate Web Folder Integrity" in Preferences have been removed. They are no longer needed.
- Uploading files with non-ASCII characters in their name no longer causes the error "Server rejected authentication details". The utility iWebTranslator could therefore be removed from the HTML-Optimizer Plus Folder.
- Updated the "About iWeb and MobileMe iDisk" window.
- Fixed a bug that caused a false alert when optimizing certain php code.
- Fixed a bug that could prematurely stop the FTP transfer of a file, what resulted in a corrupted file.
