1. Create ColdFusion projects: Using the Project Builder wizard, you can create a project and configure a local or remote server with it.
   
2. Add and manage servers: ColdFusion Builder includes integrated server management that allows you to start and stop ColdFusion servers directly within ColdFusion Builder. You can also launch the ColdFusion Administrator or Server Monitor within ColdFusion Builder.
   
3. ColdFusion Builder lets you manage both local and remote server instances. The remote servers can be connected either through RDS (Remote Data Services) or FTP (File Transfer Protocol) connection.
