keep-apps-up 1.0 can be a really useful set of scripts, including a system extension (an APPLE extension) which makes it easy for you to specify a set of applications that you would like to keep running, for as long as the computer is on.
For example, this utility corrects the problem of family members quitting important processes for extended periods of time (such as a web server application, or Hotline Server). If the extension sees that any of the applcations in the user specified list are down, it will launch them. The user can specify the time interval to check.
Note: this program does not prevent people from quitting applications, it will launch them again if they quit.
