IdleWeb 2.0 description
IdleWeb is a screen saver module for Mac OS X that allows you to load websites while your computer sleeps. However, this is not a web browser and therefor you are unable to actively browse the website.
Please dont use IdleWeb if you have an old version of Safari installed. Safari versions prior to 1.0 v85.5 have a bug that cause IdleWeb to create a lot of network traffic, which is bad for both you and the site youre displaying with IdleWeb.
Please upgrade to Safari version 1.0 v85.5 or later before using IdleWeb!
Enhancements:
- Universal Binary (works on both PowerPC & Intel Macs)
- faster and more stable than previous versions
- added preliminary Kiosk mode
- added desktop mode (shows IdleWeb on the desktop)
- pages will now automatically scroll after theyve been fully loaded
- scroll speed can be changed
- URLs from Safari can be dragged and dropped on the bookmarks list.
