The Casper Suite simplifies the life of professional Macintosh system administrators. Combining imaging, inventory, updating and system maintenance into one console provides power and simplicity.
Main features:
- Inventory: track purchasing, warranty and service contracts in addition to hardware, peripheral and software details.
- Package creation: create packages comprised of Operating Systems, Applications, Documents and user environment settings.
- Imaging: Set up automated re-imaging of computers on a scheduled basis, as well as simplifying imaging multiple configurations with a modular approach.
- Updating: Push any package to any user from multiple servers scheduled at any time.
- System Maintenance: Fix permissions, flush caches, reset computer names, and delete blacklisted files remotely on one, multiple or all computers.
Enhancements:
- Processor Detect: When you push a package, Casper will detect the processor type and install the processor specific package that is appropriate for that computer.
