ScreenSharingMenulet 1.6 description
ScreenSharingMenulet 1.6 helps you to take advantages of searching for computers in the local network which are available via AFP or Apple Remote Desktop. Found computers will be displayed in the menu with name and IP-address. Just select a menu item to connect to the appropriate computer. Add ScreenSharingMenulet to the startup items to keep it permanently in the menu bar.
Major Features:
- Real-time search for available local AFP or Apple Remote Desktop computers .
- The local host list will be created immediately at launch time or after wake up.
- Dynamic mode as in previous versions can be enabled in Terminal.app with defaults write com.klieme.ScreenSharingMenulet staticMode -bool NO
- German localization.
- If the Bonjour browser is enabled in Screen Sharing.app, ScreenSharingMenulet considers also the non-local hosts in My Computers.
Enhancements:
- Static mode: the local host list will be created immediately at launch time or after wake up.
