MobileSyncBrowser 3.0.11 is a useful tool designed to view these backups and optionally export backups of your SMS text messages, notes, call history every time you sync.

Everytime you synch your iPhone or iPod Touch to your Mac or PC, iTunes keeps a local copy of the information contained in your iPhone's SMS and Notes applications as well as your recent call history. MobilesyncBrowser (MSB) allows you to refer to these files and copy the information for archive or reference purposes.

You do not have to jailbreak/hack your phone or even have it present/connected! Since contacts and photos can and should be synched/displayed by other applications, MSB (Classic) concentrates on SMS, Notes and Call Logs, which are not normally accessible/viewable on the your computer.

Major Features:

1. View and maintain a permanent running archive of SMS, Notes and Calls. Once these are saved in MSB local data file, you can delete them from the phone, knowing you can access a copy on your computer.  
2. Export records/files for use in other programs. Need to turn in a spreadsheet of your call activity? Export the Call History as text and import into your favorite spreadsheet and tailor it to your needs.
