Mail Clips 1.0 is a professional, elegant and handy menu bar app for copying Apple Mail.app message properties of all selected messages to the clipboard, adding multiple recipient or sender addresses of selected messages to Address Book, and saving multiple selected messages to PDF or RTF format in one step.

• • You can save all selected mail messages in Mail.app to PDF or RTF, using the functionality for this built into Mail:
  • Saving multiple Mail messages to PDF is just a one step process: Choose "Save to PDF" to select the location you want the saved files to go, then click OK and your done. Just let Mail do its job.
  • This feature uses "System Events" and AppleScript, requiring "Enable access to assistive devices" be selected in Universal Access of System Preferences.
  • Saved PDF or RTF files are named using the subject of the mail message.
  • You will be prompted for a destination folder. All files generated will be prefixed bythe current date and time to avoid conflicts, say for a selection of messages in a reply thread.

• • You can add all recipients or senders of selected messages in Mail.app to Address Book all at once:
  • Unlike Mail, all the new recipients are put into a new group of Address Book, so you can verify and review them easily. Then you can either delete the new group, or move the new recipients elsewhere, or rename the new group.

• • When using the app to generate lists of selected messages attributues, the following message attributes may be included in the menu bar apps menu:
  • • Copy All Headers : All the headers of the message
    • Copy Content : Contents of an email message
    • Copy All Headers and Content: All the headers and content of the message
    • Copy Date : The date a message was received
    • Copy Time : The time a message was received
    • Copy Header Message ID : The header message ID string
    • Copy Mail Message ID : Mail's internal numeric message ID string
    • Copy Source : Raw source of the message
    • Copy Reply To : The address that replies should be sent to
    • Copy Sender : The sender of the message
    • Copy Sender Name: The full name of the sender of the message
    • Copy Sender Address : The email address of the sender of the message
    • Copy Subject : The subject of the message
    • Copy Recipient Name : The name of the first recipient of the message
    • Copy Recipient Address : The address of the first recipient of the message
    • Copy Summary : Sender, subject, date, time, recipient and content of the message
