LoudHush 1.3.12 description
LoudHush is a softphone application for Mac OS X. It functions as an IAX client for the Asterisk PBX. With LoudHush you can initiate and answer, hold and transfer voice calls using your computer.
LoudHush is a program created in Cocoa/Objective-C and integrates nicely within the OS X environment.
Main features:
- Incoming and outgoing calls
- Transfer (blind), Hold, Mute
- Caller id lookup in AddressBook
- Dialing from AddressBook (via AppleScript)
- Multiple IAX accounts (new in 1.3)
- Peer-to-Peer IAX dialing (calling other LoudHush/IAX peer without an Asterisk server) (new in version 1.2)
- Call history window (new in version 1.2)
- Bonjour (used to announce presence and find other LoudHush peers in the local domain)
- Network statistics window (jitter, round trip, lost packets, delay, etc)
- Applescript notifications on incoming call
Version restrictions:
- Quits five mintes after being launched.
