Log Visuals 0.1beta is designed as a very useful product which is a web server log file extraction and mapping program. With a few easy steps you can have an interactive map available to you to display your log files. All you need is a web server with log files in the standard extended format.
Custom log files are not supported at present. Log Visuals is currently is currently being beta tested. There are a lot of things to be added, but if there is something that would make the product more worthwhile for you please send an email with any comments, suggestions or bugs. Hopefully this software will be released as commercial software in the not to distant future.
To get an interactive map of your log files, open Log Visuals and configure your web site prefix (see included readme file for details). Then import your log files.
Enhancements:
- A wizard at the start to help setup your website information.
- Auto combine external websites.
- Increase the performance of the application.
- Identifying the top 10 pages with hits/links.
- Filters to identify errors, and remove pages with single hits etc.
Requirements: This has been tested with Mac OS X 10.4.
