BusinessCards CE 1.3.1 description
BusinessCards CE 1.3.1 will make you satisfied because it is a JavaScript that duplicates an InDesign CS3, CS2 or CS1 business card document into a multi-column, multi-row document ready for printing, including flexible printer mark options designed specifically for business card production.
To use BusinessCards CE, first open your newly-designed business card document that you would like to replicate. The document dimensions (see Document Setup...) will typically be standard business card dimensions, which is about 3.5x2 inches in the U.S.
Once the document is open, double-click the BusinessCards CE script in the InDesign Scripts palette. This will bring up the Business Cards CE dialog. Choose how many cards you want in your output pages by typing the number of columns and rows of cards that you want. (2 columns by 4 rows with the default spacing will fit on a Letter sized piece of paper.) Choose the printer mark / cut mark settings that you need. BusinessCards CE remembers your last settings, so that you don't have to enter them each time. The result of running the script on your document is a new untitled document with each page containing multiple copies of your original card.
BusinessCardsCE allows objects to bleed past the edges of the card, but not onto other copies of the card, so that cuts can be made without white lines at the edges. If you need separations and separation color bars, these can be chosen when printing from InDesign.
Enhancements: Made it compatible with the latest InDesign update, 5.0.1
Requirements: Adobe InDesign CS3, CS2, or CS1.
