Banner-Free will strip out banners from your Sherlock plug-ins.

You may want to backup the folder Internet Search Sites in your System Folder, as this program will modify them. Its probably not necessary, due to the plug-ins capability to auto-update themselves, but you might feel more secure if you do this.

Plug-ins can automatically update themselves if they notice they are out of date. If this happens, the ads may come back, and youll need to run this program again.

If you decide that you want the banners back, this program can mark the plug-ins as needing update. Sherlock will reload the plug-ins from the web, and the banners will be back. You can decide for yourself if you prefer Sherlock with or without banners.
