TuneConnect is an open source AppleScript Studio application that allows you to control iTunes from a remote computer over your local network.
TuneConnect harnesses the power of Remote Apple Events and AppleScript, two technologies built right in to Mac OS X. Using these technologies, TuneConnect is able to accomplish its job quickly and easily, allowing you to play, pause, and resume songs, and navigate forward and backwards through your library.
TuneConnect also supports Growl, a Mac OS X notification system. For more information, visit their website at http://growl.info.
Enhancements:
- Completely redesigned preference window
- Fixed Shuffle/Repeat/Refresh errors when no playlist selected
- Eliminated need for restart on first Growl use
- Added various track browser improvements
- Added single-song repeat
- Added Bonjour/Randezvous support.
