SmallImage 1.4.1 description
SmallImage lets you remove metadatas from JPEG files, thus reducing the file size. It will also let you recompress the image with a chosen quality, or let you keep the original quality.
For example a JPEG image taken from a digital camera was reduced with SmallImage from 420 KB to 168 KBand a folder containing 6,3 MB of JPEG files was reduced to 1,5 MB, with an almost unnoticeable loss of quality or any resizing. SmallImage uses part of the ImageMagick package.
Enhancements:
- Minor localization bug fixes (Thanks to Satellio)
- A few interface improvements (infos drawer)
- Documentation rewritten (in particular concerning the image quality)
- Version string wasnt right (1.3.2 instead of 1.4).
