SilverFast Ai Studio allows to write the full dynamic range of its hardware into TIFF-data. This makes the reduction to 24 bit RGB obsolete. This opens up a whole new workflow...

Best compatibilty for scanners is ensured when using hardware and firmware revisions which work with LinoColor 6 or NewColor 2.0. Among the various highlights you will find IT-8 calibration with color correction (up to 12 colors), Plug&Play CMYK, batch mode, Jobmanager and the professional multiple densitometer.

Softproof with PhotoProof and printing with layout through PrinTao are also implemented. So SilverFast Ai STUDIO and SilverFast HDR STUDIO becomes your dedicated workflow solution.

Enhancements:

  • General: Scanning with enabled auto descreening in reflective mode could cause problems when scanning in transparency mode afterwards, this issue is fixed now.
  • Enhanced Auto IT8 Calibration for Kodachrome charts
  • Added Photoshop CS4 support for Mac and Windows.
  • Heidelberg Topaz (Mac): New and improved Negafix Profiles for Topaz
