Image Sorter can recognize and display almost any format recognized by QuickTime and displays basic file information to assist with sorting. Image Sorter can also rotate those sideways shots to avoid neck strain and will even display an image full screen if you need a better look.
Image Sorter is an easy-to-use utility for sorting digital image files into one or more selected folders using a simple slideshow-like interface.
Just select a source folder containing your unsorted files, then select one or more destination folders to sort them into. Click on the name of a destination folder to move or copy the displayed image to that folder, or click on the "forward" or "back" buttons to skip an image. Image Sorter automatically advances to the next item each time you move a file, so you can quickly sort through your photos with just a single click per picture.
Enhancements:
- Added an option to the File menu to rename the active file
- Added a basic slideshow option to the Tools menu with a few simple options (registered version only)
- Added support for Copy command, available only when the active item is a picture (registered version only)
- Info display now includes both horizontal and vertical resolution and is now accurate, also added bitdepth
- A folder can now be dropped on Photo Wranglers icon and it will be set as the source folder
- Added a preference option to filter contents of source folder based on file extension (registered version only)
- Copy/Move button changed slightly to make its function and use clearer
- Added a function, accessible from Tools menu, to move duplicate files to a separate folder (registered version only)
- Added a button to the file list to move multiple selected files to the trash (registered version only.
