Introducing Page Control for InDesign CS and InDesign CS2, the first collaboration between DTP Tools and Pariah S. Burke. With Page Control, your InDesign documents are no longer limited to a single page size. Inserts and foldouts can be created without kludgy workarounds involving multiple documents, the book palette, or extra imposition work.
Resize an entire spread or the left and right pages independently. Build and apply master pages of different sizes. Expand the pasteboard for more working room. All from InDesigns own Pages palette. And, the free reader plug-in means never worrying about compatibility with service providers. Take control of your pages with Page Control for InDesign CS and CS2.
Free reader for editing page control created documents can be installed from the same installer as Page Control.
Main features:
- Multi-size pages
Page Control plug-in adds a new feature to the standard Pages palette. Now you can choose add multi-size page (or masterpage).
- Editable page alignemnt
Regardles off the page size, you can also set the mutual vertical positioning of pages in a spread.
- Custom-size pasteboard
Page Control plug-in enables you to set custom size to the pasteboard area. This feature is usefull when you need to make space for many items, or leave longer comments in the design area.
- Compatibility of documents
All documents created with the Page Control can still be opened and edited without this plug-in. Only the document setup page size pages can be added without the plug-in.
For safe moving of differently sized pages around in the document without Page Control, we recommend using our free Page Reader plug-in.
- Known limitations
Page Control created documents do not yet maintain the page size when saved as .inx.
