6. The power of the tree
   • OSG Composer maintains the tree structure of the imported models. This allows the user to select the appropriate level to work on, and makes hide/show, snapping, and positioning much more intuitive and powerful.
7. Copy and create instance
   • As simple as copying a text in a word processor, you can copy geometries  or assemblies in your scene.
     
   • OSG Composer supports another way of copying, “Make Instance”. Instances share materials, and transformations, so it is easy to update the materials of all instances in a single drag and drop operation.
8. Packing the Scene
   • If you were frustrated with tracking all those textures used in your scene, or embedded inside some of the 3D files, then you will enjoy packing the scene option, which packs the scene with all the textures it uses in a single zip file, ready to be shared.
9. Texture generation
   • OSG Composer is capable of handling those models with no texture coordinates. Select the geometry and let OSG Composer add Plane, Box, Spherical, or Cylindrical texture coordinates
10. 3D text
    • OSG Composer includes a convenient tool to add 3D text to your scene. Select your font, enter your text, and have a 3D text entity in the scene.
11. Fix those bad models
    • If you face a problematic model, do not mark it as unusable until you pass it through OSG Composer. OSG Composer provides a great tool to rescue such models, and make them usable.
