OnyxTree BAMBOO 1.0

OnyxTree BAMBOO 1.0 is a tool featuring as the premier procedural modeler of 3D bamboo, bamboo grove and bamboo growth over time. It is capable to create virtually infinite variety of bamboo species either from scratch or by modifying those in BAMBOO Library. The resulting bamboo is botanically photorealistic 3D model that is then exported in 3DS, C4D, DXF, FACT, LWO, OBJ, or W3O file formats to all the major renderers.

The application can also model bamboo grove or bamboo forest, where the size and shape of the area and growth habit of the chosen bamboo are parametrically adjustable. OnyxTree BAMBOO creates bamboos and bamboo groves at different stages of growth. Hence, it can generate a growth sequence at time intervals specified by the user. Such a sequence can be exported as a series of 3D files into a renderer for growth animation purposes. The user interface is intuitive, well structured and blends with the modeling process so that it makes it easy and effective. OnyxTree BAMBOO modeler comes with BAMBOO Library, Manual, a set of culm textures, a set of leaf texture maps, and direct access to OnyxTree Nursery site, where the user may choose and download additional BAMBOO parameter files for free.
