MidiSwing 0.3.1b

MidiSwing is a little midi sequencer. It lets you play, edit and create midi files.
Main features:
- Play midi files. Can use Java Sound, QuickTime instruments or Sound Fonts or play on an external device. The notes being played are indicated on a keyboard.
- Edit midi files. The content of the midi files is displayed on a piano roll. You can change the notes and the major controls (tempo, instruments, volume, velocity, reverb, etc).
- Create your own music. You can create your music from the piano roll or record from an external keyboard.
- Monitor the midi events contained in the midi file
- Play quicktime video along with the music.
Enhancements:
- Scrubbing (notes are played when one drags the scrub on the piano roll)
- Quantization : notes can be automatically readjusted to the right times of the music
- Core Audio/Sound Fonts are now used to play sounds when notes are clicked (and not only when the music is played)
- The instrument menu shows the actual names of the instruments for every Sound Font .SF2
- The java sound bank of your Java installation is used by default (if no sound bank is found, then the built-in sound bank is used)
- Improvement in the editing interface (moving with arrows, permutation of tools)
- Bug fix : the first notes of the file are not shortened any more when the file is re-opened.
- Localization in French.
