LiveQuartz 1.8.3

LiveQuartz 1.8.3 is a useful and free photo editor for Leopard that is based on non destructive layers and lters.

The layers are at the left and the lters are at the right of the window. To edit a photo, just drag it into the window (or layers' list) and it will be added as a new layer.

LiveQuartz handles Multi-Touch Trackpads since 1.8. You can watch a screencast of LiveQuartz in help menu or with this link rhapsoft.com/?menu=livequartz_video. The software is localized in 11 languages : English, Traditional Chinese, Simplied Chinese, Danish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Persian, Russian and Spanish.

 Major Features:

1. Layer compositing for Everyone.
   • LiveQuartz makes layer management very easy. With its layers list, you can add, remove, drag, drop, re-order and merge layers in a very intuitive and non-destructive way.
2. Dynamic filters for Everyone.
   • LiveQuartz is born around the same time as CoreImage. Since then, LiveQuartz has a very powerful non-destructive filters list for each of its layers.
   • In LiveQuartz 1.8, adding a filter becomes even easier with the new standard Leopard filter picker.
3. Touch your layers.
   • On multi-touch trackpad enabled Macs, you can use gestures:
   • 'Swipe' for tools and layer control, 'Pinch & Expand' for magnification and layer zoom transformation and layer 'Rotation'.
4. One window user interface.
   • LiveQuartz has all of its user interface in one window. Available tools settings appear as you select the tool.
   • Layers and Filters list can be hidden easily to have all the window space available for your photo.
