Lightwright 5.0.2

Lightwright 5.0.2 is designed to manage lighting design paperwork, storing the information for each instrument in a show as well as general things such as dimmer capacities, color frame dimensions, and stock equipment. It organizes all the standard paperwork, counts instruments, templates, stock equipment, and both frames and sheets of color, and it offers easy ways to exchange that information with CAD and other database programs.

Major Features:

1. Easy to use Vectorworks™ Spotlight 2009 Data Exchange - No more import/export/merge hassles! Simply start your show file in VW, then open LW and connect to the drawing file. Once the link is active, you can make changes in either program and the changes automatically appear in the other. Add lights, delete them, change color, channels, accessories. And if things ever get screwed up, LW5 has a new reconciliation window where you decide which program’s data is correct. Once you’ve made your decisions, LW makes the changes in both the LW file and the VW drawing.
2. Any number of show files can be open at the same time! Copy and paste from one file to another, use Worksheet Reconciliation to compare and synchronize worksheets.
3. Color Scroll Design Window: Drag colors from Lightwright’s extensive database of colors and drop them into your scroll. Rearrange the colors to your heart’s content, then have LW calculate the level percentage or raw DMX number for each color. Drag and drop the scroll into other programs as a ready-to-edit .jpg image.
4. All-New Worknotes: Totally new, with the emphasis on speed and flexibility. Print, transmit, and email worknotes from within Lightwright with a single button click.
5. Worksheet Color & Gobo Swatches: Automatic color swatches and gobo pictures on the worksheet, in color counts, and on paperwork. Hover your mouse over the gobo swatch to have a large-size image pop up.
6. Favorite Web Sites: You need to pick a gobo. Will it be Rosco, Lee, GAM, or Apollo? Add your favorite web sites to the new one-click web access button and see your web browser open auto-matically to your favorite sites without having to dig through bookmarks. Then drag the gobo from the web site and drop it right into Lightwright.
7. Worksheet History: Lightwright can show you exactly who made which changes on the worksheet, and when. View the worksheet based on when changes were made. Unlimited Undo and history rollback to any point in time make changing your mind quick and easy.
8. Moving Light Wheels: Lay out your moving light gobos and colors in the new graphical wheel editor. Drag and drop the finished wheel right into your magic sheet.
