kJams is a nice karaoke tool, a jukebox for Mac OS X. Its just like iTunes, except theres also karaoke lyrics on the screen (or on the TV) that follow along with the song, showing you what to sing next.

If you really want to be professional, it can also manage a list of singers and keep track of who is up next!
Typically you buy special CDG discs to use for karaoke, which are just like regular CDs except they have graphics in them too, showing you song lyrics.
You put the CDG into your mac and play it, or you can "rip" the songs (ie: import them from the CDG onto the macs hard drive), then you can play them whenever you want even without the CDG.

Version restrictions:
- Cant export to QuickTime more than 10 songs
- Cant add more than 3 songs to a any playlist (except for your library)
- Cant rip more than the first 3 songs from a disc
