Curvius 3.0

Curvius 3.0 is created as a useful tool that helps to add 7 new filters to Illustrators filter menu. They are Crenellate, Reverse Path, Roughen, Roulette, Simplify Smooth, and Straighten.

Major Features:

1. Roughen
   • This is an alternative to Illustrator's native Roughen tool with the advantages that it is reproducible, has identical effects on coincident paths, works on partially selected art and has different modes of operation.
2. Crenellate
   • The crenellate filter "adds" an open path to the existing path in a repetitive way. For example using a square crenellation on a circle results in a gear.
   • A variety of pre-computed open paths are supplied : in addition the user may select an existing unclosed path as a crenellation.
3. Roulette
   • The roulette filter generates "spirograph" type art.
4. Other filters (Simplify, Straighten, Smooth & Reverse path)
   • The other filters operate in the expected way.
   • Simplify provides a way of thinning paths in AI7 or 8 ;
   • Smooth and Straighten do what you might expect ;
   • Reverse Path is a utility filter that reverses the direction of a path (only noticeable if its brushed or part of a compound path).
