When you film a tv screen or monitor, the result often has a horizontal band scrolling down. This happens when the screen’s refresh speed is not tightly synchronized with the camera’s shutter speed. Band disturbance is a special effect that mimics that effect.
You can use Band Disturbance whenever you want to simulate a filmed tv transmission or monitor.
Main features:
- area of effect: define the area of the clip you want to be affected by the plug-in. all other parts or the clip remain untouched.
- brightness: this slider controls if the disturbance is brighter or darker than the picture (and how much). you can go from -50% to +50%
- severity: this controls how thick the band will appear.
- speed: this slider controls how fast the disturbance moves down.
