Welcome to AutoQ3D. A complete 3D modelling application for computing aided drafting in three dimensions.
AutoQ3D works under Linux, Unix Systems and Mac OS X.

The objective of this work is to give power users or developers and easy way to create graphics in three dimensions using a simple file format to incorporate  in their own projects.
AutoQ3D is powerful and flexible. It is ideal for you to use as modelling editor for your game design, for math and geometrical education, to visualize points for land surveyors or whatever your imagination tells you.
AutoQ3D is easy to use. The graphical interface is very intuitive so the learning curve is so short that it will give you time for the real work.
AutoQ3D is easy to install. Under Linux just unzip the compressed file in some directory or folder and double click the executable file. It is all the configuration you have to do. Under Mac OS X just run the binary installation (Special thanks to Markus Bongard, http://naranja.umh.es/~atg)
AutoQ3D is Open Source. The source code of  AutoQ3D is released under GNU General Public License. This gives you the right to use AutoQ3D without a license fee. As a developer it gives you the opportunity to enjoy a knowledge community.

- Drawing tools for creating points, lines, polylines, triangles, rectangles.
- Powerful selection and modification tools (move, scale, stretch, rotate, mirror, zoom, pan,...).
- Snapping to objects (endpoints, centers, intersections,...).
- Command line and graphical user interface for coordinate positioning and launching commands.
- Import and apply textures to native format (Q3D).
- Import DXF File Format (DXF 2004, 2000, R14).
- Export DXF File Format (DXF 2000).
- Import MD2 File Format (Quake File Format).
