Dock Gone 1.0
Dock Gone 1.0 Ranking & Summary
Dock Gone 1.0 description
Dock Gone is a free and easy to use application will keep the Mac OS X Dock out of your way so that it doesn’t interrupt your work.
While you could always hide the Dock, it would reappear whenever you mouse over the edge of the screen, blocking whatever was below the cursor.
Dock Gone prevents this by moving the Dock completely out of your way, effectively turning it off until you ask for it back.
Dock Gone will become your constant companion, and you'll come to expect the Dock to always behave as it does when you have Dock Gone installed, no matter what Mac you're using. Dock Gone gives you several ways to turn the Dock off or back on:
- Within the Dock Gone Preference Pane in System Preferences
- In a menu in the menu bar.
- Using a keyboard shortcut that you define.
The menu and keyboard shortcut can optionally be turned off if you don’t want them.
Major Features:
- Switched to a standard style shortcut recorder control from the older segmented control and popup button UI.
- When the dock is hidden and the mouse moves to the bottom of the screen where the little leftover tiny dock is, the tiny dock will now be moved to the other side of the screen from the mouse.
- Various other small improvements.
Enhancements:
- First production release.
- Updated the manual to reflect production status and fixed several details where the UI had grown faster than the manual.
