MenuCal 0.8

MenuCal is considered donationware, if you like it, visit the website to donate. Otherwise feel free to use it for free if it suits you. If you have any graphics ability, a donation of an application icon or any widgets would be greatly appreciated.

Enhancements:

• Back to having the month selector on top, since most people agreed it was better that way
• It should now pop up to the left of the dock if you have your dock on the right hand side. The worst of the memory leaks have been fixed, although there are still a few hopefully minor ones Im still tracking down.
• New features
  • Auto away - closes window after a specified time interval
  • Selectable colors for items in the calendar (suggestions for good default values are welcome as Im partially colorblind...)
  • Memos! you can type notes attached to a specific calendar day
  • Should use less memory now, especially if you have a lot of iCal events
  • iCal parser has been completely redone, and now supports recurring events
  • growl notifications are now supported. The notification will appear 15 minutes before any iCal event if growl is enabled.
