Tidy Soul Shards 1.0 is a very useful but free add-on which provides you with an easy way to destroy Soul Shards via macros. Example:
- #showtooltip Drain Soul(Rank 1)
- /stopmacro [noharm][dead]
- /run TSSDropShards(19)
- /cast [mod:shift] Drain Soul(Rank 1)
- /cast [nochanneling:Drain Soul]Drain Soul(Rank 1)
This will allow you to avoid Soul Shards destruction if either you're attempting to Drain Soul on a dead target or a friendly target, and destroys all soulshards exceeding 19, which means you'll always have 19/20 Soul Shards in your Soul Pouch. The function itself destroys all exceeding Soul Shards starting from the right-most bag and it works even with standard bags.
